Madonna's career: 2018

Madonna spends most of 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal where her son David plays with the junior Benfica soccer team. While she continues to promote her MDNA Skin products, she works on her next studio album with producers Mirwais and Mike Dean. At a surprise performance at the 2018 Met Gala, M gives a short first preview of her next studio album (an excerpt of what would become Dark Ballet). While her 60th birthday in August gives her much publicity in the press, she spends the celebrations with her kids, friends and dancers in Marrakesh, Morocco.
