On August 13, 2020, Dua Lipa released a remixed version of her track Levitating, featuring vocals by Madonna and Missy Elliott. It was the lead single of the album Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix Album. The remix was done by The Blessed Madonna, while Stuart Price did the original production.
The collaboration came about when Dua Lipa heard the original remix and thought Madonna and Missy would sound amazing on it. She reached out to them hoping at least one would accept, but was thrilled to hear that both accepted and loved the track. Lipa described it as "a dream come true".
Video
The music video, directed by Will Hooper, premiered on August 14. Though Missy Elliott has a part in the video, Madonna doesn't appear in it.
