Album production & release

Confessions II - scheduled for release on July 3, 2026 - will be Madonna's 15th studio album. It comes 7 years after her previous studio release Madame X.

The album was produced by Stuart Price, who also produced the 2005 album Confessions On A Dance Floor, which is seen as the new album's predecessor in style.

Confessions II will be available as a 12-track and a 16-track album. The Deluxe version will contain the 16-track CD and an exclusive photo book with the images of the album shoot.

Several limited editions have been announced, including the 12-track Standard Vinyl LP (Red – Hot pink cover), the 12-track Vinyl LP – Community Exclusive (Violet), the 12-track Vinyl LP – Amazon Exclusive (Yellow), the 12-track Vinyl LP – Retailer Exclusive (Baby Pink), the 12-track Vinyl LP – RSD Stores Exclusive (White – Red cover), the 12-track Vinyl LP – Indie Exclusive (Pink – Yellow cover), the 12-track Vinyl Picture Disc – D2C Exclusive, the 16-track Standard Vinyl 2LP (Translucent Pink), the 16-track Numbered Deluxe 2LP Set – D2C Exclusive (Clear), the 16-track Deluxe 2LP Set in Premium Packaging (Translucent Pink), and the 16-track Standard Cassette.

Album promotion & Singles

A first track, titled I Feel So Free, premiered on iheartradio on April 17, 2026, showing off a 90s house and dance style.

That same evening, Madonna guest starred on Sabrina Carpenter's set at Coachella, where they performed their new duet from the album Bring Your Love, as well as Vogue and Like A Prayer. Bring Your Love was later confirmed as the official lead single, released on April 30.

On April 25, Madonna and Stuart Price made a surprise appearance at The Abbey in West Hollywood, where they previewed two new tracks from the album, which are dubbed Freedom and Love Sensation.
