Madonna has directed Miu Miu's autumn/winter campaign film.
The singer - who has also worked on a clothing line entitled Material Girl with her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes - is said to have gone to the set of the video to meet with photographers Mert Atlas and Marcus Pigott, but ended up directing the shoot instead.
Model Ginta Lapina explained to Love magazine: "We were supposed to shoot a video, so Madonna said she wanted to direct it. They said she could do it but they weren't going to pay her and she started laughing. She put on her iPod and taught us moves and we shot the video for two hours."
Ginta, along with fellow models Lindsey Wixson, Daphne Groeneveld and Siri Tollerod, are all seen dancing to heavy base music in front of strobe lights while wearing Miu Miu's coveted embellished dresses teamed with kitten heels and patent handbags.
However, it hasn't all been plain-sailing for Madonna's ventures in the fashion world.
The '4 Minutes' singer is being sued by LA Triumph for using the Material Girl name for her brand, after the company has been using the title for its own clothing collection since 1997.
Professional dancers will have the opportunity to audition Thursday at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC for a chance to be a part of the launch of pop queen Madonna's fashion line, Material Girl.
Each dancer will only have one minute to impress a panel of judges. Judging the dancers' skills in the preliminary rounds will be: Madonna's lead dancer Leroy "Hypnosis" Barnes, Dari Marder (Chief Marketing Officer of Material Girl), and Adam Moon, Macy's Fashion Director. Once Madonna's judges narrow the finalists down to twenty, ten performers will be handpicked by Madonna herself!
Madonna's new line Material Girl is a fashion-forward juniors collections that was created and designed with her teenage daughter Lola, and is exclusively sold at Macy's. The collection launch is scheduled to take place September 22 at Macy's Herald Square in NYC.

Looks like Jess Donckers is just a sad person looking for publicity. Earlier this month, the Belgian model claimed to be the face of an upcoming lingerie fashion line of Madonna. There was even a photoshoot scheduled.
Now it turns out that the lingerie line, titled 'Madonna Nude 1979', exists for several years already and that Madonna has nothing to do with it. Madonna's publicist Liz Rosenberg denied any link between the fashion line and Madonna quite a while back already, saying M's lawyers were investigating the case.
Pop queen Madonna has been sporting some odd outfits recently but she scrubbed up well for her 52nd birthday bash at Shoreditch House. The gym obsessed mum-of-four went for simple elegance in a tight-fitting silver dress which suited her toned figure. And her wrinkle-free face must be the envy of many women in their fifties.
Daughter Lourdes took style tips from mum's Desperately Seeking Susan era, with black mini, boots and plenty of crucifixes. And Kabbalah devotee Madonna still seems to be clinging to her Catholic roots, clutching a gold cross and wearing a crucifix necklace.
Toyboy Jesus Luz looked dapper in black at the exclusive bash. They were joined at the private members club by a ragtag bunch of celebrity pals including Paul Whitehouse, Claudia Winkleman and Billie Piper.
Macy's delivered a July fireworks show for investors [Thursday] - with a little help from Madonna.
The nation's biggest department store reported a better-than-expected 7.3-percent increase in July same-store sales, or sales at stores open at least a year.
While other retailers, including rival JC Penney, were singing the back-to-school blues with sluggish monthly sales reports, Macy's CEO Terry Lundgren said the season is "off to a great start."
Lundgren cited the "phenomenal launch" of the new "Material Girl" fashion line, designed by Madonna and her 13-year-old daughter, Lourdes. Aimed at teenage girls, the 1980s-inspired line will include clothing, shoes, handbags and jewelry.
On Tuesday, Macy's launched the collection at the company's flagship store on Herald Square with a performance by pop star Taylor Momsen, who drew throngs of girls dressed up like Madonna. Macy's shares yesterday rose 34 cents, or 1.8 percent, to $19.78.

The Material Girl is illuminating the City of Light, where she's shooting her latest film, W.E. Dressed all in black and heavily accessorized in dark shades, a hat and a patterned scarf, Madonna directed Saturday's shoot in Paris' tony 6th district.
The 51-year-old singer made her directorial debut in 2008 with Filth and Wisdom, about a Ukrainian cross-dressing punk-rocker.
Madonna is not the only U.S. star to film in the French capital this summer.
Last week, Woody Allen was shooting his "Midnight in Paris" on location near the Pantheon and in a park behind Notre Dame cathedral. The film, starring Owen Wilson, also includes a performance by France's first lady, model-turned-singer Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.
