Madonna's career: 2008

2008 is a very busy year for Madonna. In April she releases her Hard Candy album, a collaboration with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Pharrell Williams. The album is promoted with 3 singles and with promo performances at the Olympia in Paris, at Radio 1 Big Weekend in Kent, and at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. In August she embarks on her Sticky & Sweet Tour which visits 58 tourstops across Europe, North America and South America. Her personal life fares less; in October - after months of rumours in the press - Madonna and Guy Ritchie announce their divorce.
